Al Luther brings to his clients more than 30 years of experience in the claims and legal industries.

Having served in strategic and operational roles with profit and loss accountability in both personal lines and commercial business segments, Al understands the needs of claims and legal executives, and the businesses that serve them.

Al’s consulting practice focuses primarily on opportunities directly relevant to today’s industry executives, including litigation performance improvement, panel law firm management, legal expense analysis and control, and the in-house development of quality audit programs.

Prior to joining our group, Al served as Vice President of Litigation and Claims Quality at CNA Insurance Companies. Previously he has held chief claim officer and other management roles at CUNA Mutual Insurance Company, Viking Insurance Company of Wisconsin, and Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company.

Al earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School and his Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University.  He has been awarded the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from the American Institute.
