Jim brings to his clients a proven track record of using strategic, innovative approaches to drive positive change in their organizations. His consulting practice at Suite 200 Solutions emphasizes the use of data, technology, and process mining technologies to unlock new potential in organizational growth, profitability, and tactical efficiencies.

Before joining Suite 200 Solutions, Jim was the Chief Administrative Officer for Markel Specialty, where he worked for more than 16 years. Previously, he served as EVP and General Counsel for GAB Robins, as Assistant General Counsel for BP / Castrol North America, and as an attorney for Guy Carpenter.

Jim’s expertise spans multiple areas critical to insurance company excellence, including claims, litigation, underwriting, and risk management. He has deep experience in legal spend management, using AI-enabled technologies to improve underwriting processes, and in using process mining technologies to improve workflows of all types.

Jim has held multiple board positions, including the Wholesale and Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) Emerging Issues in Insurance Committee, the Nebraska Insurance Federation, and Family Services of Rhode Island.

Jim is admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Villanova University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Magna Cum Laude, from La Salle University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (M.S.P.) and expects to complete the program in December 2024.
